EASY ON THE SENSES
2020, Christ Church
Gentle house was a selective collaborative project working to produce a house that caters to the needs of an Autistic child and their family. A great amount of research was done to understand the spectrum and how to design a living space specific to a child with certain triggers and needs. This project was incredibly eye-opening. Due to the pandemic, only the basic components of the design were finalised, but many speculative ideas arose in the process. . This project through its entirety looks very deeply into the human senses and how they can alter how a human feels within a space. A very refreshing and inspiring project to be selected to work on.
